Roads

Geotechnical Polymers are an efficient solution for ground improvement beneath existing structures, concrete roadway stabilization and lifting, highway stabilization, and road repair in the Northern Rocky Mountain Region.

How It's Used

Geotechnical polymers can mitigate problems caused by separated concrete slabs, faulty joints, inconsistent driving surface elevations, and sloping. Probe injection offers a durable repair option for wide-ranging road applications.

Road Applications:

  • Road stabilization

  • Pavement lifting

  • Joint and crack sealing

  • Void filling

Roads PROCESS

Probe injection returns roads to safe and level conditions quickly. After evaluating the site, YGC geotechnical experts inject our geopolymers in a grid pattern, allowing the compound to expand to fill subsurface voids as needed. The geopolymer is fully cured in minutes, allowing traffic to re-open immediately. Oftentimes, YGC employees Dynamic Cone Penetrometer testing to determine the proper injection point elevations suitable for the soil profile.

Advantages of Geotechnical Polymers for Road Construction

  • Outperforms traditional methods

  • Durable option for road repair

  • Fast curing time

  • Environmentally inert foam minimizes impacts

  • Long-lasting solution
